Results 2018»

 

2018 was initiated by taking part in the Nordic Championships in Norway. The danish team once again brought home gold. Individually, the duo scored two second places. Following this successful ride, the pair was nominated to take part in representing Denmark in the Nations Cup at Equitour in Uggerhalne. The Team ended up second.

The danish championships were once again held at the beautiful Broholm Gods, and they were once again able bring home three high placings. They also represented Denmark at the Nations Cup leg in Falsterbo. As the second reserve, Rikke Svane and her beautiful black Trakehner stallion also took part in WEG, the World Equestrian Games. As the highlight of the year, the dynamic duo was able to score above 70% in the Grand Prix, enabling them to qualify for the Grand Prix Special. In the Grand Prix Special, they were once again able to score above 70% and ended up on rank 24 in the World Equestrian Games, Tryon, 2018.

Together, Rikke Svane and Finckenstein TSF have more than 70 Grand Prix placings in their 11 years of partnership and successful career.

 

Results 2017»

 

Rikke Svane and Finckenstein TSF were able to initiate the competition season of 2017 with the partaking in the CDI***** in Doha, Qatar. Rikke Svane and Finckenstein TSF were able to finish with an 8th place in the Grand Prix, and went on to achieve a total of 75,35% in the Grand Prix Freestyle the following Saturday. This resulted in a 6th place, beating Carl Hester.

 

The pair continued the season in Europe, where they competed in Stadl Paura. They were victorious in the Grand Prix with an end result of 72,22%. The team came out on top once again with 77,05% in the Grand Prix Freestyle, once again beating their previous record, and being far ahead of the other competitors in the Grand Prix.

 

Rikke Svane and Finckenstein TSF were able to obtain a new record in the Grand Prix of 73,16% at the CDI5* competition in Compiegne, France. The freestyle allowed the pair to gain yet another Grand Prix placing.

 

Despite extreme temperatures in Pompadour, France, the duo Rikke Svane and Finckenstein TSF were still able to bring home another two placings at the CDI3*. The pair were victorious in the Grand Prix Special.

 

The Danish Championships this July lead to Rikke Svane and Finckenstein TSF ending up on an overall fifth place. The pair peaked in the Grand Prix Freestyle, reaching a grand total of 76,5%, rewarding them with a third place that day.

 

The last competition of the year took place at the World Cup competition in Zakrzow. This was rather successful as the duo was able to bring home two additional Grand Prix placings. The pair was third in the Grand Prix.

 

Finckenstein TSF and Rikke Svane now have no less than 16 Grand Prix victories, 10 second placings, 5 third placings along with 36 other placings.

 

 

Results 2016 »

Results 2016 »

 

2016 initiated with taking part in the unofficial Danish Championship for Trakehners, where Finckenstein TSF and Rikke Svane got more than 81%, thereby earning the title of unofficial Danish Champions. At this same event the "Schwadroneurs Memory Trophy" was given to the Danish Champions.

Hereafter, the pair took part in the CDI 5* in Doha, Qatar. In the Grand Prix the duo came in 10th, and then later in the Grand Prix Freestyle the pair improved to a 7th place.

Finckenstein TSF and Rikke Svane were then on the long list for the Olympics in Rio.

In May the duo competed at the CDIO5* in Compiegne, where Finckenstein TSF and Rikke Svane brought home yet another victory.

After this success, the pair travelled north to take part in the Danish Championships in dressage, which then lead to a combined 5th place.

After the Danish Championships, the duo took part in the CDI5* competition in Falsterbo, Sweden. At this event, the pair managed to bring home a combined 2nd place, where they achieved 72,4% in the Grand Prix, and 74,5% in the Grand Prix Freestyle. These outstanding results lead to Denmark receiving a 2nd place at the Nations Cup.

 

This fall, Rikke Svane and Finckenstein TSF competed CDI*** in Biarritz, France. In the Grand Prix the duo reached a total of 71,76% which brought them to a stunning victory. This was then followed up by an exclusive victory in the Grand Prix Freestyle with 76,3%.

 

After the great competition which took place in Biarritz, the duo were able bring home 2 additional placings from the World Cup in Zakrzow, Poland. In the Grand Prix, the two landed on a sixth place, where they advanced to a fifth place in the Grand Prix Freestyle with a total of 73,75%.

 

This November was the first time that Rikke Svane and Finckenstein TSF took part in the CDI**** in Madrid, Spain. Here they were able to set another highscore when they won the Grand Prix with 72,92%, and proceeded to a second place in the Grand Prix Freestyle with an amazing 75,575%.

 

The last competition in 2016 took place at the World Cup Qualification competition in Salzburg. Rikke Svane and Finckenstein TSF received a 7th place in the Grand Prix, and received a total of 74,896% in the Grand Prix Freestyle which lead to an 8th place in a very strong international field.

 

Finckenstein TSF and Rikke Svane now have nothing less than 13 Grand Prix victories, 10 second placings, 3 third placings and 28 other placings.

 

Results 2015 »

 

2015 barely initiated before the duo carried on their success from the previous year. The two took part in the CDI 3-star event in Drachten, that lead to two stunning victories in both the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Special.

Thereafter the team travelled to Doha, Qatar to take part in the CDI 5-star event. They returned with an impressing 5th place in the Grand Prix.

At the Danish Championships in June, the pair impressively improved upon their initial 5th place last year, achieving a stunning 4th place. This excellent performance lead to the couple being elected to take part in a CDI 4-star event in Hagen. They achieved a good 8th and 7th place in the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special. Finckenstein TSF and Rikke Svane are thereafter chosen to represent Denmark in the European Championships in Aachen, in August 2015. In late autumn, the pair once again went to Saumur, impressing the audience and judges, by achieving a new personal record of 75% in the Grand Prix Freestyle.

 

Shortly after, the pair went to the World Cup competition in Lyon where they achieved a brilliant 8th place in the final. The last competition in the year was at the well known German Masters competition in Stuttgart, that classifies as a World Cup tournament. Under the tough competition, the couple managed to proceed to the final and received a beautiful score of over 72% in the freestyle.

 

All in all, Rikke Svane and Finckenstein TSF can look back on 38 amazing Grand Prix placings.

Results 2014 »

Throughout 2014, Finckenstein has continued to improve and is getting great results in Grand Prix dressage.

He has been given the title of TSF and is now recognised as one of germany's best dressage trakehners.

 

In June 2014, the duo competed in the Danish Championships and were immediately given praise when they took the 5th place.

 

The rest of the year was victorious with numerous Grand Prix placings. The pair competed in Perl, a 4-star CDI, and were they, both days, placed within prize money. Thereafter the journey continued to Hickstead, a 3-star CDIO in England, where they achieved another 3 successful placings. This excellent performance lead to Denmark winning the Nations Cup for the first time.

Later in the year, the duo clearly demonstrated all their hard work at the 3-star CDI in Saumur, France. They were victorious both days, winning the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Special.

Yet another successful year was finished when they competed in Lyon, a World Cup competition in France, where they successfully achieved their first placing in a World Cup competition.

Results 2012 »

2012 was another victorious year for Finckenstein and Rikke Svane.

 

At their first show they won three competitions at S-level.

 

In July at the Trakehner Bundesturnier Championship in Hannover they won all four competitions at S-level. It has never happend before that the same horse has won all the top dressage competitions at this show.

 

In Krefeld in September the couple were second in Grand Prix and won the Grand Prix Kür with no less than 72,5%.

Results 2011 »

2011 was a great year for Finckenstein and Rikke Svane.

In January, Finckenstein obtained approval at Stud-Book du Cheval de Selle Luxembourgeois, a warnblood association in Luxembourg which is a member of W.B.F.S.H.

 

In the spring the stallion won Prix St. George twice, S3 twicw and he debuted in Intermediere I which he won with 70,8%.

 

At the Trakehner Bundesturnier Championship in Hannover the Equipage made a grets performance and really showed that they belong in the peak of all Trakehner stallions.

After a second place in the qualification competition they won the finals with a very impressive 71,92%.

Finckenstein was ahead of many other breeding stallions.

 

In August the couple made their International debut in Leudelange, Luxembourg. They recieved high scores in both competitione and brought ribbons home.

 

After a victorious season the couple is back home in training at First Choice Stables by Fie Skarsø, to continue the positive way of training a top dressage horse.

 

Results 2010 »

In 2010, Finckenstein, through his performances in the sport, obtained his final approval.

After successful starts in S and Prix St. George dressage classes, the equipage continues their positve development with Fie Skarsø in Luxembourg where Finckenstein is showing great desire and ability in performing the difficult exercises.

Results 2009 »

In 2009, Finckenstein became a double champion by winning two Trakehner Breeding Association Championship Finals. With 72,4%, he was superb in 7 years championships. M-finals was another success and the turnout was thus double championship winners.

In October 2009, Finckenstein ended the season with debut in the Prix St. George, an extremely compelling debut, where his performance gained him the number one position on the podium.
